I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which I work, and live, the Boonwurung, and Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. I pay my respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.

Digital Fever (2014)

c3 Contemporary Art Space, 2014

Documentation By John Brash

Digital Fever investigates the Red List of objects that museums cannot acquire. As documented by the International Council of Museums’ website, the images in the Red List are indicative of types of stolen objects but not the images of the actual stolen ones. The artwork highlights the urgency to totality in the face of the fragmented approximation of images, through collage, painting, and foam cutouts. It explores both the Internet and museums as archiving spaces where the aura of art objects is contested.
